Kris

just found this thread. My GF and I are doing a road trip to big sur ( condor watching) and would be interested in getting a set. I have a 1999 323i 4dr 5sp with the factory sport susp. i would be in the big sur area by monday.. Im driving from Vancouver BC Canada.. I was looking into the h&r cup kit possibly.. Im looking to refresh my susp, but a bit firmer, i dont want to go much more lower than .5 to 1" from the sport i have now. but better cornering is wanted. Ill call tomorow in the hopes we can work something out.. especially if a e46fanatics discount is offered. I belong to BMW na also and the local bmwbc club. i might even want a install if your shop would be into that. but time would be really pressed for me.

Since these are coilovers you don't have to worry about the height. It is adjustable, you can either set it to stock height or slam it! That's the beauty of it!!! I can't wait till I get mines installed!

No wait time!! I'll be installing them in a few day's and have 3 sets of rims to test them out with. Factory 5 spoke 16x7 et47, 17x7.5 et42 m contour(oem), 17x8 et38 m3 reps all with 225/50/16 or 225/45/17. I'll start my own thread when I do and post before and after pix if it stops raining , this will also be my first suspension install.

They suck. Ride is very bumpy/jumpy. My car almost feels like a friggin honda! Helper springs don't help ease the harsh ride. As a matter of fact, because they exist, you can not lower the fronts as much as you want to. You have to either take the helper springs out, not use reinforcement plates or take out whatever you think would help lower it down. Ohh and everytime you mess with the height, alignment throws waaay off! If you guys are still going for cheap, get rokkors. I will be buying some genuine coils soon and throw these in the garbage. Can't sell them or donate them since I do not want to harm anybody.
