Koni yellows or H&R cup kit?
I've heard A LOT of good things about the yellows recently. But know that H&R offers a great product too.
Right now I'm on stock ZHP suspension (94k) and still really love it. I just overhauled my brakes with BMW performance F/R rotors, new pads, ss lines & ATE fluid. It's braking is great now need a suspension that matches. I am looking to reduce that fender gap some, and want to feel a true upgrade when I refresh. I recently replaced my F control arms and bushings with Lemdorder OEM zhp. I am going to pair the stut/ shocks with a nice set of sway bars (Thinking hotochi, but open to others). Suggestions on best springs to match with koni's or really anything to finalize my decision is appreciated. It is my daily driver and do currently drive during winters (in Buffalo) so a setup that can handle a little salt is preferred. I don't mind spending the $ just want to do it right, but thinking that the right coil-overs are a bit too pricey for me and can't justify spending since I don't track my car. Also, besides grabbing rear strut mounts what else should/ do I need. Thanks! |

cant go wrong with the cup kit. if you dont want to be lowww do the tourings. sport if you want very little wheel gap. i believe the tourings are sport springs and sport are race springs? Correct me if im wrong fellow fanatics

just installed touring cupkit with sport springs on my coupe, way better than my previous set up (bilstein sport + h&r sport) on my sedan. If you're looking for a decent drop .75front .25 rear I suggest go with the cupkit.

I have been running the touring cup kit for 1 year and love it. Still only $600 at tirerack so you can't go wrong on the price. You also want to replace mounts and end links, bushings and steering coupler if you have not done recently.
Took it to the best indie shop in town for alignment and they did it right adjusting front camber at the tophats. They were very impressed by the suspension overall said it might be slightly firmer than stock but felt like like a brand new car. |
