I love my black, but it's dirty the day after I wash it. I'm either getting bright red, blue or white for next time.

I would go for black again, it is a pain, but it's a cool colour.

I think given the choice Ima go for a silver grey colour with my next purchase, or grey metallic. It will be easier to maintain it's appearance.

Silver grey - thats the future right there baby.

I know I will never get a black car again. Sucks because I'm partial to darker colors. Everything shows up on it and I feel compelled to clean her every week (would anyways). But all of the rock chips in the front has me looking for a paintshop. They are seen even from a distance.

1. Hood chips are REALLY apparent
2. Scratches pop more
3. Gets dirty incredibly fast
4. Gets hot as **** inside during summer
5. Regular waxing completely necessary

1. For the hour that its clean it looks AMAZING

All in all... i think that other colors could be more practical and look equally as good. If its a show car well then by all means go black!

I will never get a JET BLACK car again......I love it when it is clean and waxed, for the first hour or so. It is just too much of a pain in the ass color to keep clean and looking right..

i will def. get black again. my dads car is black, sure it gets dirty easily, but it is so rewarding to clean. we clean our cars every weekend so its not that big of a deal.

My first car was a jet black 735i, my second one a cosmos e36 m3, and now my 328i is jet black. I'm going to try to keep this tradition going, it just wont feel right if i don't have a black bimmer

I think i would get one.... i detail my car alot so i dont think the constant cleaning would bug me. Plus, no matter what, you can never reach the same depth you get with balck with any other color.

I have silver now, its nice but there isnt much depth.

NEVER again....I went from black to white, and man what a relief. The only exception is if I had a "weekend only" car and a garage is a MUST have with black cars.

i had silver e46. loved the look of the black e46 so i got that one. then it was such a b1tch to keep clean and every little scratch could be seen by a partially blind lady standing 20 paces away. so i traded that in for another silver e46. but then when I looked at the e90, black was the only color to get. but now, i am wishing I got the smoke gray instead cuz its a b1tch.

There's nothing like a clean black car. But after 2 of them, I will buy another one only if I had my own garage and the time or money to wash it every 3 days.
