I just took the Z4M for a spin. It drove fantastic. Sorry about the sound quality. I left the closed cover on the Go Pro so it's hard to hear any of my commentary or the sound of the car. The car is extremely quiet. With a factory exhaust there will be no way to know this car is not stock (except for the MASSIVE POWERBAND!). We will be dyoing Alex's Z4M later this week so stay tuned!!

Looks like I will have too much fun this weekend

Chris is there any chance for you to make a E98 tune for high boost ? It would be a great option for all Z4M HPF owners

Not yet. We're going to get this dialed for a standard tune first.

John was on the dyno with the Z4M last night. The car threw some codes and the car wouldn't let him do full pulls. He's got the car back on the lift and we hope to figure it out today and get it back on the dyno.

No problem. John made more progress today. He found out that one of the O2 sensors was not heating up. Certain codes cause the ProEFI to not control the engine correctly and factory O2 sensor codes are a biggie. John is installing another factory O2 sensor today and it will be back on the dyno.

Thanks Chris great update,

i will have my injectors and ecu installed tomorrow, so if you finish the dyno today it would be GREAT if you can send me the tune today.

it's back to life! I'm excited for this car, looks like such a blast to drive (this chassis)

This is what the dial looks like with pro efi

I hope HPF will solve this this month or i will make a new harness and a new ecu.....

on oem ecu I currently have

1- crankshaft position sensor electric
2- exhaust vanos 1 control
3- exhaust vanos variable cam control test
4- exhaust vanos control 2
5- ignition voltage supply
6- brake booster, electric ATIC39



On Pro-efi

1- "camEdges fault" ,
2- "increasingFaultCounts" and
3- cam/crank sync faults number is increasing continously.


Any comments?

John removed the last o2 code, was driving the Z4M and making dyno pulls however the car would cut the throttle on each pull. He found a possible glitch in the harness or wiring. It appears the DSC is not receiving the proper signal so John and Jason are going to work on the pin-out today to determine how to quickly resolve the issue.

Thank you for these updates it helps alot. If John and Jason is working together it means this could be solved very soon.

John traced all the wires and they trace through correctly. We are now checking ot see if it's in the CAN bus. ProEFI is providing lots of help. It's the first Z4M they've done so there will be a learning curve.
