Chipster MSS5x Flash Tool

Anyone firmilar with it? I've seen people mention this tool a bunch of times but I cannot seem to find a write-up or review about it anywhere.

I'm a total newb when it comes to coding and this seems like it might be a good tool for flashing my DME with MS43 dev teams files. Can someone who has used it tell me if this is going to be over my head? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

It's pretty simple more time waiting for activation as it is locked to hardware. Pretty simple has full and partial read and write. When the 2nd coming of winter disappears here I'll make a vid when I get a chance. It's really as simple as plugging your inpa cable turning key to on and hitting read and or flash. Has slow and fast mode now too but I would hook a charger to your battery.

How long would you recommend I save my money?

I'm swapping a 3L into my touring while I'm on spring break. Hoping to have the car on the road by the end of this week. Also thanks for all you do Daniel, your thread inspired me to take on the swap.

Can´t say for shure. If you´re cheap, you can always use the standart bootmode which works fine either in the car or on the bench. For a simple swap, i´d save the money and use the old fashioned way.

I realize this is an old thread, but I figured that instead of making a new one, I would just reply here. I bought the MSS5x Flash Tool a week or so ago and have not received my activation key nor a response to my query. What's the deal?
