Hi all,
Iv started to notice that the back end of my car feels like it jumps when you go over a bumps. Iv taken the car in the air on the ramp and checked all the bushes. They don't look terrible and nothing visually looks worn apart from the rear toe arms. Could this be causing this?? Iv also checked the wheels for play and there ok.

Thanks for anyone's help

Go back under the car, this time using jack stands. Move the wheel in every direction possible and look for play.

Oh right sorry. Basically when I'm driving in a straight line and I then change lane , the front goes over smooth but the rear when it comes across feels like the car wobbles side to side as if something is loose and taking up the slack. Iv had the car put on a 2 poster ramp so all the wheels are free from the ground. Iv tried for play in the wheels and all seems ok. I can twist the toe arm with my hand is this normal?
I really appreciate all your help guys :-D

my 04 325xi sport did this too and i took it to two different german mechanics and they had no idea what the issue was... and when you also did like a shimmy move with the steering wheel to like avoid something in a lane, it felt like the back end was slow and reacting to it and kinda felt like 4 wheel steer, yet they never could find anything wrong with the car..... also drove a 03 Lexus es330 that did this exact same thing and only had 90k miles... but its the weirdest feeling its like its jumping to the right...

OP, same thing was happening to my wagon and it turned out that the rear shocks were gone.. springs were still good though. but after replacing those parts the car tracked good. i tried jumping up and down on the rear bumper and it seemed that the suspension was good at first. but after closer inspection. the rear shocks were actually the culprit.
