Might as well preorder the Vorsteiner one.. Any other trunk for a convertible is gonna be some cheesy piece that doesnt have good fitment.

 

Even the Vsteiner won't have that great of fitment.

 

Scorza has one and also HPF. HPF has a different style

So the trunk light is pre cut and ready to replace with the OEM from mine? I saw the Asuka one is not from a previous post from another member.

Vorstianer, spelling is wrong, is about $1000 give or take $200. also depends on single sided or double sided carbon fiber.

 

GJGM3 bought the 1st production Asuka vert trunk. Here are some of his install pics. Def more aggressive and if you want something more exclusive and different than a CSL trunk then this is the way to go. I do dig both styles though.

 

VIS also makes a nice one for $660.00 at octane motor sports.com.

 

not for verts though. Asuka makes a custom boot for verts, and Vorsteiner and Scorza are about to come out with a CSL type vert boot.

 

No, Its for verts. It is listed on their web site. I called and talked to a rep and he said that it fits perfect and looks great. Check it out. The price is real good.

 

search E46fanatics for VIS. Through personal experience i tried ordering that same trunk through VIS wholesale through one of their distrubitors. They said they shipped it, and would provide a confirmation number, they never did. Bottom line they didnt even ship it, ordered had to be cancelled. So i asked ANOTHER distro(a vendor on here) for VIS, yes on their website it has the same trunk listed, so this time i asked if they had it in stock, distro asked VIS and said they didnt. Websites not updated:hmm: So i would put my money on any other aftermarket supplier besides VIS. Its not just my experience, when you do the search on here, there are more complaints besides mine. Ive tried calling VIS, and emailing. Maybe this has changed, but i recommend to anyone before buying a product online that they call ahead of time and MAKE sure any vendor has that product in stock before ordering.

yeah good company, ive ordered little parts from there. But once again, THATS a coupe trunk, they dont make trunks for verts.

 

The site says it fits a vert as well

 

look again, i also emailed/PM koalty to see if they sell a vert version, they dont. Feel free to PM them. Please let me know if im wrong.

 

the actual drop down menu for ordering doesnt have the vert option. I saw what your looking at, at the bottom though.

 

my last email to Khoalty was SEP2010, so i just emailed them again about the vert trunk. Ill post for those interested. Price would be a steal though
