How to program the memory seats

Hey everyone.
Just bought my first BMW and it's an amazingly clean and sexy 325i.
I was able to program the key but I can't program the memory seats. Someone please help. Everytime I get in the car it adjust the seat and mirrors to previous owner settings lol do u know how frustrating is that? Specially when he or she had it to the lay down position haha.

Any how help me please.

Adjust the seat to your specification and then press and hold the memory button and then number button at the same time.

Seat and mirror memory

To store
1. Ignition key position 1 or 2
2. Adjust your seat and exterior mirrors
to the desired position
3. Press the MEMORY button: the indicator
lamp in the button lights up
4. Press memory button 1, 2 or 3, as
desired: indicator lamp goes out.

Damn I love my car. Lol should've bought a bimmer long time ago. The body lines on the e46 are sexy.
